Well the final day 2017 has come upon us. This year was an improvement over 2016, but that's not really saying much. Things went ok for me. Halloween went better than expected, Thanksgiving was smaller than usual, and Christmas went well. I feel we got some pretty good movies this year. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor Ragnarok were both awesome! Coco was surprisingly a great movie, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi didn't live up to the hype but I still really liked it. IT was actually really good, I mean it wasn't "that scary" but I thought it was still a solid film. I also enjoyed Logan and Kong: Skull Island(which really got me pumped up). The LEGO Batman movie wasn't as good as The LEGO movie but it was still really good, same goes for The LEGO Ninjago movie. War for The Planet of The Ape(man that titles a mouthful)was really cool despite not being what I hoped. I also like Despicable Me 3 as it wasn't as good as DM2 but was still a really good film.As for everything else, I either didn't see it, or I think it's terrible. As for television, well we got the finale to both Regular Show and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Both finales were awesome, especially the Regular Show finale. Adventure Time, despite going through one of it's hardest periods, is going strong, and I'm excited for the finale next year. Video games were ok this year. Sonic Mania was actually awesome, while Sonic Forces was disappointing. Super Mario Odyssey was actually really cool. Cuphead was surprisingly a good game. Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was pretty good, not great but good. Crash Bandicoot The N. Sane Trilogy was awesome for long time Crash fans like me. And LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 was actually a cool game. I also want to point out that the Archie Sonic Comics were cancelled, which is sad but not surprising. I just the comic got a proper ending. I mean the main book almost got to 300 issues and Sonic Universe was almost to 100 issues. Not to mention we didn't see the conclusion to Sonic Mega Drive, but hey we'll see Sonic in comics again next year at IDW. As for politics, well it's clear that if Pres. Trump keeps going where he's going he'll end up starting WW3. We also got some celebrity deaths this year. For me, the one that got me the most was June Foray, best known as a voice actor who provided the voices of Rocky the Flying Squirrel on the original Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, Granny and Witch Hazel in Looney Tunes, and being in movies like Mulan, Space Jam, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Peter Pan, and Cinderella. As for me on Deviant Art, I honestly feel like I could've done better this year, I just hope you guys aren't disappointed in me. Anyway, I'd rather not share my New Years resolution. So next year to me seems like it will be a good one. I hope you all had a great year and that the next one is even better.
Final Journal of 2022
Remember how I said last year that 2022 might be a great or even a good year, but a lot of problems where anxiety based, and that I was going to try and stop myself from expecting the worst all the time? Well...I was right. A lot of my problems were anxiety induced and did a lot to try and fix that. I'm now on a medication, I've been making new plans with my therapist, and I've even been taking piano lessons, which has been helping me calm my nerves. With that said...this year kind sucked. Yeah, I'm jumping the gun here. F*ck 2022! There was the Russia/Ukraine situation, and my condolences to everyone who was directly affected by that event. The weather was awful, at least here where I live. Where it's freezing cold, but no snow. We lost a lot of celebrities this year. Granted, that's expected of every year, but still, a lot of these really hurt. Gilbert Gottfried, David Warner, Angela Lansbury, Kevin Conroy, Robbie Coltrane, Jason David Frank, Pat Carroll, Ray Liotta, Bob Saget, I
So I Finally Watched MLP: FIM Part 1
Y'know....eventually this was going to happen. Across my years as an afficionado of the medium of animation, I have seen many cartoons. I have seen bad cartoons, I have seen god awful cartoons, I have seen good cartoons, and I have seen phenomenal cartoons, but then there's that special category. There have been a number of cases where I go a long-time hearing about a certain cartoon, but never actually take the time to watch it myself. I've gotten through all of the Ben 10 shows, I've gotten through Legend of Korra, I've gotten through Amphibia, and now it's time to cross the last really big one off my checklist. You all know what it is. Going into this, I knew a fair amount about this show beforehand. Ever since the world was graced with this cultural phenomenon of a show, all the way up until its end, you couldn't go anywhere in the 2010s, mainly on the internet, without hearing someone talk about it. I don't even know if "cultural phenomenon" is an accurate statement to just how

Final Journal of 2021
Last year in my final journal of 2020, I said this: "So on some level, I'm thankful 2020 was as eventful as it was. Because sometimes you need to hit rock bottom to know that something just isn't working or change needs to happen." I want to apologize if anyone took that as me saying I was glad that so much bad shit happened. Obviousbly I wish it none of it happened, but what I was trying to say was that I wanted us to go into this year with a better attitude to try and make things better. And for the most part we did. I don't really pay much attention to politics in general, but I will say that at, even if Biden is probably the most boring president we've had in a while, he's also not the worst in my opinion. At least I often forget he even exists. We did deal with a lot of legitimately bad stuff this year. Like more people still refusing to take COVID seriously, and those same people refusing to get a free vaccine. If you couldn't get vaccinated because of say age or medical
